Breast Implant Manufacturer Arrested

The owner of a French company that makes breast implants has been arrested amid safety concerns. Jean-Claude Mas, founder of the now-defunct company P.I.P., is being held at his home. His company is accused of using low-grade silicone in breast implants that have a high risk of rupturing and leaking. It’s believed that up to 400 thousand women in 65 countries may have the at-risk implants.
