Yahoo Co-Founder Resigns

Jerry Yang has resigned from Yahoo’s board of directors. Yang, who co-founded the former web giant in 1995, became CEO in 2007. His tenure was cut short after turning down a $47 billion buyout from Microsoft, a decision that rubbed shareholders the wrong way. Since then, Yahoo has fallen further behind Google in both search engine popularity and advertising revenue.
