Japan’s finance minister says “concrete steps” will be taken to decrease oil dependency on Iran. Jun Azumi made the statement to US Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner at a high-level meeting in Tokyo. This is considered no small feat given Japan is the world’s second largest importer of Iranian oil.
