Scary Drug Recall
January 10th, 2012
Drug manufacturer Novartis is recalling several popular over-the-counter medicines amid fears that bottles may contain powerful painkillers instead. The pills in question include Excedrin and No-Doz expiring before December 20, 2014, and Gas-X and Bufferin expiring before December 20, 2013. It’s believed that these bottles from a troubled plant in Lincoln, Nebraska, could contain powerful opioids such as Percocet.
