Black Friday Weekend has never been more lucrative. Earlier store openings and enormous discounts propelled Americans to spend a record 52.4 billion dollars. That beat last year’s mark of 45 billion by a solid 16 percent. Another record was set with the number of shoppers, it’s estimated that 226 million consumers hit the stores, up from 212 million last year. That’s a lot of brave souls!
