Senior Al-Qaeda Leader Killed

US officials have confirmed that one of the world’s most wanted terrorists has been killed by an airstrike in Yemen. American born Muslim cleric Anwar al-Awlaki is believed to have been a top-ranking member of Al Qaeda’s Arabian Peninsula affiliate. Al-Awlaki had been linked to the 9-11 and Fort Hood attacks.
