Christian Bale surrendering his keys to the batmobile. Christian Bale has confirmed that he’ll be hanging up his cape after the next Batman film. The third installment in Christopher Nolan’s reboot of the franchise, called The Dark Knight Rises, will apparently be the last. After his next performance, Bale will be the longest running caped crusader on the big screen.
