Two American balloonists have gone missing in a thunderstorm over the Adriatic Sea. Richard Abruzzo (ab-ROOT-so) and Carol Rymer Davis were racing in the prestigious Gordon Bennett Cup when they reported bad weather before losing contact. The Italian Coast Guard is scrambling aircraft and boats to search for the hydrogen balloon.
