Kenyan runner sets new world record in 800m. We’ve got a new world record to report in track and field! Kenya’s David Rudisha crossed the 800-metre finish line in 1 minute 49-oh-9 seconds at the IAAF Challenge meeting in Berlin. The 21-year old broke the previous mark by just two one hundredths of a second! Now he’s got his sights set on Olympic gold in London.
