Does the Taliban have a new home in the Middle East? NATO and US top commander, General Stanley McChrystal, seems to think so. He says he has clear evidence that Taliban fighters are being trained in Iran, and that the country is also supplying insurgents with weapons.

Former Secretary of State Colin Powell has declared that the disastrous BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico is now quote ‘beyond the capacity’ of the company, and urged President Obama to get the military involved to stem the leak. Powell also criticized the President for not taking a more hands-on approach to the dilemma from the very start.

Because he was named in an outstanding warrant. The flight had to be diverted to Canada, where the suspect was arrested.
